In utility construction we are facing a major challenge: many buildings that play a major role in our society, such as schools and hospitals, are in need of renovation and sustainability. But budgets are limited and in the meantime, daily business must be able to continue as usual.
Students need to be able to take exams, patients need peace and attention – no noise and dust. Yet we want to continue to make things more sustainable, in order to reduce our footprint and lower our CO2 emissions. This requires experience in the human-process field and technical expertise. At Dura Vermeer we have both in-house: to build for people and the earth. That is how we want to Do Good .

Sustainable and affordable
By preserving what is good and improving where necessary
NOT ‘OR’ BUT ‘AND’
We think in opportunities, not in choices. Not in ‘or’, but in ‘and’. Because today’s challenges show that we can no longer choose: it all has to be done. Our goal is to create energetically very sustainable buildings that give the customer a relatively low energy bill. Buildings that provide for encounters and connections in the physical and social domain. That creates self-reliance and energetic, healthy people.
We want to do this with a minimum of inconvenience for users and employees. We know that a sustainability operation brings enough headaches. By giving different interests, perspectives and (social) tasks a place in the process, we offer customers and clients the pleasant certainty of being unburdened and maximum predictability with regard to budgets, planning and quality.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS OPTIMIZATION
To bring these challenges together and manage them properly, smart planning, optimization of the construction process and an experienced team are needed. Together with our clients, we go through this process. As a partner, we ensure that we are the calling card for all stakeholders involved; from local residents to future tenants to the municipality.
